Wonder if Santa Claus accepts last minute Christmas wishlists. Nuthin’ much I’d like to ask from the old geezer, but hey, surely you could spare me a Creative Nomad Jukebox right Santa? I’ve really been good, no, supppeeerrrb at all times throughout the year, really! grin Or at least, hmmm, taking into consideration all the other human beings suffering out there in the world, World Peace. On second thought, hell, not that it could possibly happen anyway. Heck, even having a nuke going off right on top off Malaysia seems to be blessed with higher odds. But I digress… ‘Tis a season for merry-making n’ loving ain’t it?
Merry Christmas all! =)

Ah rite. Not to mention that I met my two cute ex-colleagues, Cutecutegirl and Pei Ru in City Square as us guys (10 of us) were going to do with some quickie lunch before the movie. Then saw Guo Ting, another ex, who came all the way from Taman Sentosa to meet up with me. Then in the hawker centre spotted a bunch of girls, who under closer inspection, are ex-primary school classmates. Damned… Too bad I can’t have time for a bit of socializing, which I’m already outdated already. A lot of people don’t even know I’m in JB already. Well, not that I want everybody to know anyway. Was expecting to make James-Bomnd-ish sneaky intro, then sneaky outro, rendezvous later somewhere else. Sneaky men always do that. =)

‘Tis a blissful night, for I have finally got to witness something classical, something which in all its grandeur is definitely worth listing down as a masterpiece, something which I’ll be telling my offspring (pardon my rather crude usage. Just might be me being too breeding-crazed grin ) decades later… the second installment of Lord of The Rings was… damned, definitely the best movie I’ve seen. I had particularly high-hopes bout how the Ents would turn out in the movie, as it wasn’t really very clearly described in the book. Or is lack of concentration through the fact that I’ve been skimming through it too fast (Finished the bloody tome in 3 days, got a headache for another two)? Heck I even mistook the Oliphaunt which debuts briefly in the trailer for what, a second, in all its long-nosy multi-horned glory, as a bloody Ent. Can’t blame me for it… hell, it’d look like a goddamned flying octopus in the trailer for God’s sake… But I digress. The Balrog, the skirmish battles, the beautifully (or more appropriately, “ugly”, I can’t decide) illustrated Gollum… damn, the visuals are jaw-dropping… the scenery sooo captivating… The acting sooo perfect… Damned. Thinking of it makes me want to watch it a second time already.

Went to Pulau Tioman last weekend, god knows what the heck my family were thinking, visiting a scrawny little island a coupla hundred miles off the nearest Malaysian shore, littered or no, not to mention its’ bloody monsoon season right now, with the winds blowing across the seas in from the Mainlands (Yeah yeah I know you hate Geography now shaddup). Nothing much really, just lots of fresh air, lots of relaxing in air-conned chalets (watching horrendously low-quality hotel TV channels, you know, B-grade movies and such), lots of good food (Scrumptious scrumptious buffet! Yum yum… haven’t had a decent meal since God-knows-when), lots of sea-gazing, with a considerable amount of ”leng loi” gazing thrown in for good measure (There was this two Caucasian women, possibly English, nice figures, live opposite us, very possibly lesbians… grin ). The seas were rough, so snorkeling was out, ditto for all out-door activities as it was actually bloody raining numerous times every day. Hell, one could hardly get a decent tan with the sun all dotted out by huge dark greyish cumuli.
Started work yesterday, still, nothing much. Just sitting around in bloody boring school koperasis glaring at bored parents with bored children tagging by their side while robbing them of their duit raya for informational brainwashing textbooks and such. Ah well. ‘s 20 bucks well earned anyway. Definitely better than spending the morning sleeping till 2pm and shuffling around in the house with ruffled hair looking like someone woke up from the coffin.

Geez. I miss cybercafes. After one year of quitting CounterStrike and generally, cybercafes (You don't want to know how addicted I was early last year), received invitation from my ex HELL team (currently |v|@+r|x, as founder and leader I couldn't have possibly came up with something as cryptic as they did, heck, "keep 'em simple", that's what people say) clan-mates (consisting of my bro and his perky post-graduated boys, elite players of JB) to "unseal" my mouse (rough chinese translation, ala old-style "chinese kungfu stories" style) and rejoin them. So I did. And played with them together with a few old pals (Yukito and newbie) for a while in Warcraft for starters, the cybercafe all-time favourite "de_dust" for main course, and as Yukito sulkily protested that CS was too boring, so Half-Life "Crossfire" for dessert. Results as follows: KL-ians (people who are studying in KL) versus JB-ians (as mentioned) results in 1-nil as our overwhelming troops of hyppogryph riders, frost wyrms, and using Yukito's ultimately wierd tactic, hordes of wolf shamans tore through the enemies... eat my Starfall ye vermin!!! Muahahaha~ *ahem* Anyway later in CS, my rusted skills were apparently seriously insufficient to contain the opposing Terrorist rushes, round after round after managing to plant a coupla lead M4A1 rounds into some unfortunate guys another lucky bugger would just manage to pull off a few shots and... another one bites the dust. Me. Darn. Still, not unexpectedly, my frags top the charts in the Counter team... Still, the deaths statistics are discouraging. Some more training to be done. Ah well. Finally, Half-life games... They need no detailed description, 2 words will do: Mindless fraggin'. ("This is MY BOOM-STICK!!!")
Delicious chicken rice afterwards (Went to that stall near Kerry's, which was once on Singapore TV8 in one of those cuisine programmes), then accompanied my bro to the Education Fair at the Pan Pacific, afterwards to the ol' bookshop which I last worked for half a year. And got a 1-month-period job. $550 = enuff food + savings for Nokia 6510. Pretty good. *grin* Too bad though... it seems that my future female working partners this time aren't as pretty as last year's. Ah well. Can't have too high expectations in life eh? Heh.
