Ever heard of a song written in 1933 by a Hungarian pianist, Rezsô Seress, interestingly nicknamed “The Suicide Song“? The mournful, melancholic lyrics of “Gloomy Sunday“ or “szomorú vasárnap”, written by László Jávor, paired with the deep emotional notes of the piano, combined into an incredibly haunting song, that many people ended their lives after listening to this song, after leaving hastily written last letters. Ack Sounds like extremely evil stuff to me. Read its lyrics here. Anyway I’m downloading a version sung by Bjork, and another by Sarah McLachlan… just curious. Well… hopefully this is not my last post… Hehe~ grin
